Abstract
Sequential interpretation of a new scheme for a carbonate deposit syst em has been realised through an inner Jura platform-Vocontian trough t ransect. A forced-regression was identified at the Oxfordian-Kimmeridg ian transition. Paradoxically, if sequential analysis is conformable f rom inner platform to basin, the forced-regression corresponds to a tr ansgressive system in the Vocontian basin. Can we explain this phenome non by an out-of-phase double eustatism or by a local-tectonic event?
