Abstract
The sequence of the human embryonic beta-like globin gene (epsilon) up stream regulatory region has been reported previously. In the course o f our own work, we found a significant number of discrepancies between our sequence and the data base sequence, which we show here to contai n large clusters of errors within functional epsilon-globin regulatory domains.
