Abstract
Evidence for the intercalation of a rhodium carbonyl into the layered vanadyl phosphate, VOPO4.2H2O has been provided from XRD, FTIR, and XP S studies. The incorporated rhodium carbonyl has been found to exhibit catalytic activity and shape selectivity in the hydrogenation of olef inic substrates.
