THE DISTURBANCE OF HEMISPHERIC ORGANIZATI ON

The number of reports in literature, which describe a dysfunction in h emispheric organization in schizophrenic diseases is constantly increa sing. In particular the results of neuropsychological, morphological/a natomical investigations confirm the hypothesis of intra- or interhemi spheric deviations, which are connected to the pathogenesis of the dis ease. At present it is difficult to accept the sole argumentative forc e of one theory because of contradictory results obtained in different subgroups by different examination methods. With regard to future inv estigations a differentiated and uniform advance is necessary.
