Abstract
This paper is devoted to the introduction and study of fuzzy weakly se mi-continuous functions between fuzzy topological spaces. Some propert ies of these functions are characterized in terms of quasi coincidence , quasi neighborhoods, theta-neighborhoods etc. Furthermore, some rela tions connecting fuzzy weakly semi-continuous functions and fuzzy retr actions have been established.
