The thermal stabilities of the indazole Schiff base complexes of Mn(II
), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) were studied. The stabilities a
re discussed in terms of structure and type of metal ions. The activat
ion energies E(alpha) of the different processes were evaluated and di
scussed in accordance with the structure of the complexes. The electri
cal properties of the metal complexes were also investigated with refe
rence to the types of metal ion and organic ligand.
