The results of magnetic susceptibility, heat-capacity, electrical resi
stivity and magnetoresistance measurements on the compound Ce2RhSi3 pr
ove that this alloy orders antiferromagnetically at 6 K in support of
an original report by Chevalier et al. [Solid State Commun. 49 (1984)
753] but in contrast to the conclusions from neutron diffraction resul
ts [Szytula et al., J. Magn. Magn. Mater. 118 (1993) 302].
