Abstract
The propagation of nonlinear magnetoelastic waves in a semi-infinite f erromagnetic single crystal has been investigated. We consider the non linearity of magnetic origin and find the dispersion relation of coupl ed nonlinear magnetostatic and elastic Rayleigh waves. We present the results of a theoretical study of dispersion and attenuation of couple d waves as a function of magnetostatic wave power.
