The study provides a summary of the most recent knowledge about the mo
derating part of physical activity in the relation psychosocial stress
- health. On example of a number of studies, the cardioprotective eff
ect of physical activity in the sense of reducing the absolute as well
as relative response of heart frequency to mental stressor is proved.
The assumed mechanisms are briefly mentioned, by means of which the c
