The distribution of major and 12 trace elements in marbles, calciphyre
s and carbonate-silicate schists of the Cisol'khonje and the Ol'khon I
celand metamorphic complex is studied. The enrichment of carbonate roc
ks of the Ol'khon series with graphite, Cr, V, Zn and that of Anga ser
ies - with Mn, P, F proves that the former accumulated at the reducing
conditions whereas the latter at oxidising ones. In the Ol'khon serie
s where the granitisation is developed intensively the Sr content in c
alcite bearing marbles was found to increase up to 0.2-0.8% near the m
igmatitic zone. This could be resulted from the strontium loss during
the final stage of granitisation accompanied by the pressure decrease.
