Yv. Korzhov et Ak. Golovko, COMPOSITIONAL CHANGES OF MONOARENES AND B IARENES DURING THE SIMULATED FILTRATION OF OIL THROUGH ROCKS, Geohimia, (10), 1994, pp. 1503-1509
The effect of oil transportation on the compositional changes of mono-
and biaromatic hydrocarbons has been studied using simulated filtrati
on of crude oil through sand-alevrolite rocks. The concentrations of n
aphthene substituted compounds, C19-C27 n-alkylbenzenes, 1,2-and 1,3-m
ethylalkylbenzenes, 2,6-, 2,7- and 1,7-dimethylnaphtalenes have been f
ound to change after the filtration. Based on the data obtained the pa
rameters which could be used as oil filtration indicators were propose
d. Ratios of the individual components remaining constant ander filtra
tion have been suggested for the geochemical application.
