Abstract
Hypophosphatasia is a rare inherited disease, the 1st clinical sign of
which is often a premature loss of deciduous teeth. We describe clini
cal, histological and SEM findings of 2 cases of hypophosphatasia from
a single family and discuss the pathological mechanisms with referenc
e to the literature.
