High-T-c superconductor three-pole narrow bandpass microstrip filters
fabricated from in situ deposited YBCO epitaxial thin films on LaAlO3
substrates are presented. The CAD tool of the filter is EEsof Touchsto
ne Workbench. All the parameters which were necessary in our filter de
sign such as substrate dielectric constant, RF conductivity of YBCO th
in films and substrate loss-tangent were extracted from an inverse sim
ulation of a high-T-c straight line microstrip resonator. A 446 MHz pa
ssband in 9.57 GHz with 0.4-2.2 dB insertion loss in band was reported
and some coincidence with the design was shown.
