Abstract
The parametric uncertainty modelling problem arises in robustness anal ysis with the structured singular value (mu), or in parametric margin problems. In this paper, it is shown that parametric uncertainty model ling can be cast as a realization problem for a multidimensional syste m, which is defined in the framework of linear fractional transformati ons (LFTs). The main result of this paper is an algorithm to solve sys tematically the multidimensional realization problem.
