Abstract
The paper reports the first chemical study of an European Doriopsilla mollusc. Three new furanosesquiterpenoids, ent- pallescensin-A (2) tog ether with two acetoxy derivatives (5,6), have been characterized. The metabolites are distributed either in the skin of the mollusc or in i ts hermaphrodite gland where the most abundant component is a mixture of drimane esters (1).
