Rd. Wilson et al., IN-UTERO DECOMPRESSION OF UMBILICAL-CORD ANGIOMYXOMA FOLLOWED BY VAGINAL DELIVERY, American journal of obstetrics and gynecology, 171(5), 1994, pp. 1383-1385
An enlarging cystic-solid cord abnormality was found at prenatal ident
ification to be an angiomyxoma. Partial in utero decompression of the
16 x 12 x 5 cm cystic component allowed uncomplicated spontaneous vagi
nal delivery at 36 weeks' gestation, Doppler studies had shown variabl
e systolic/diastolic ratios in the solid component of the angiomyxoma.
