Abstract
The synthesis of Hexahydro-isoquino[2,1-b][2]benzazepines 6a-c in a th ree-step reaction is reported; their conformation is investigated by s pectroscopic methods, X-ray analysis and dehydrogenation with mercury( II) acetate.
