Abstract
Above ground parts of Lepechinia caulescens afforded the new diterpene 8 alpha(9 alpha),13 alpha(14 alpha)-diepoxy-abietan-18-oic acid. Addi tional diterpenoid and triterpenoid acids were also characterized from another population of the same species.
