Abstract
Endocrine tumors of the pancreas are extremely rare (1-3 %). We presen t two cases with functional inactive tumors - one benign and one malig nant-, which were immunohistologically secreting glucagon without havi ng clinical symptoms. Differential diagnosis, operative strategy and t herapy of endocrine tumors of the pancreas are discussed.
