V. Mazhukin et al., SIMULATION OF LASER MELTING AND EVAPORATION OF SUPERCONDUCTING CERAMICS, Numerical heat transfer. Part A, Applications, 26(5), 1994, pp. 587-600
The peculiarities of pulsed laser melting and evaporation of the super
conducting ceramics are analyzed by means of numerical simulation. The
appearance of the overheated metastable states in solid and liquid ph
ases is shown as a result of the phase front dynamics and volume natur
e of laser energy release. A method of dynamic adaptation for the mult
ifront Stefan problem is proposed.
