Abstract
The paper, together with other theorems, presents the proofs of the fo llowing statements. (1) Every preorder is a supertriangle self-inverse product. (2) R square R(-1) if and only if R is an equivalence. The s upertriangle and the square product (square) appearing in the theorems are special relational compositions that were introduced by Bandler a nd Kohout in 1977 and described previously in this journal.
