Abstract
Far infrared transmission measurements of R(2)Cu(2)O(5) (R=Y, In, Lu a nd Sc), which show strange two metamagnetic transitions below T-N, hav e been performed in the energy region from 50 to 200 cm(-1) at 4.2 K. Observed phonon energies are compared with each other, and their phono n modes are discussed.
