D. Muram et Ce. Jones, USE OF A MENSTRUAL CALENDAR IN PATIENTS WITH ROKITANSKY-SYNDROME - A REPORT OF 2 CASES, Journal of reproductive medicine, 39(11), 1994, pp. 923-925
In two cases the menstrual calendar was used to determine the cyclic n
ature of abdominal pain in women with the Rokitansky syndrome who coul
d not otherwise find a regular pattern in their symptoms. Surgical int
ervention to remove the rudimentary bicornuate uterus was needed in bo
th, and complete resolution of pain was attained. The menstrual calend
ar is a valuable diagnostic tool in confirming the cyclic nature of pa
in and can be used in guiding treatment decisions.
