Abstract
Intermolecular Diels-Alder reaction of a monoprotected bis-diene with a bis-dienophile, followed by deprotection on the second diene moeity and a second intramolecular Diels-Alder reaction, leads to the stereos elective construction of polycyclic ring systems with high level of st ereochemical control.
