Abstract
A new theoretical method is presented for investigation of the modeloc king performance of a synchronous pumped cross phase modulated fiber l aser. By using this method, the modelocking performance of a non detun ed modulated fiber laser has been investigated for a constant sech sha ped modulation as a function of the modulation power and duty cycle, a nd as a function of the filter bandwidth, modulation path length and d ispersion.
