Abstract
This article reviews the efficacy of radiation therapy for local recur rence after radical prostatectomy. The risk factors for recurrent dise ase including pathologic state, tumor grade, and prostate-specific ant igen (PSA) levels before and after radiation therapy are analyzed. An algorithm for the use of postoperative radiation therapy for patients in various clinical situations is presented.
