Abstract
The management of localized, primary penile carcinoma determines the p robability of recurrence. Because this disease is refractory to most f orm of systemic therapy, the management of recurrent carcinoma of the penis requires aggressive surgical resection of both the primary lesio n and nodal sites to effect the best chance for long-term survival.
