Abstract
The theory of chaotic behaviour of dynamical systems has been used to investigate the basic features of interaction in fast-wave devices suc h as gyrotrons. A simple model of the interaction process seems to ind icate that gyrotrons readily resist the onset of chaotic behaviour eve n at large amplitudes of oscillations. 85.10, Jz, 02.40. + m, 41.90. e.
