A low energy (500 J) discharge at relatively high pressure (kPa) betwe
en two cone-shaped electrodes has been studied. The discharge geometry
enables the formation of two jets with filaments and a compact plasmo
id in the center. The existence of the plasmoid was discovered in our
experiments. Electron density and temperature were measured by the sta
ndard interferometric, schlieren, and spectroscopic methods. A turbule
nt structure of the jets and plasmoid was proposed for explanation of
the measured values and some turbulent parameters were estimated.
