Abstract
A new mexicanolide-type limonoid, 2-hydroxy-3-O-tigloyl-6-O-acetylswie tenolide [1], and a new tirucallane-type triterpenoid derivative, lipo -3-episapelin A [2], were isolated from pericarps of Trichilia connaro ides and their structures established on the basis of chemical and spe ctral evidence. In addition, five known tirucallane-type triterpenoids were also isolated.
