Abstract
The modification of the shape of the 3v(3) vibration-ration band of CO 2 by different perturbing gases (CO2, HE, AR, N-2) has been studied at room temperature for a wide range of pressures (up to 140 atm) using a Fourier transform interferometer. Important narrowing effects in the R branch are observed.
