Abstract
Mohs' micrographic surgery is the most effective method of ensuring co mplete removal of basal cell carcinoma. It is particularly indicated f or recurrent tumours and tumours in critical anatomical areas of the f ace. This article describes the technique and contrasts it with conven tional surgical excision and tissue processing.
