Abstract
In the given scalar-tenser theory of gravity, the gravitational scalar phi plays the role of inflation field, the cosmological function lamb da(phi) together with the coupling function omega(phi) provides a doub le-well potential for the motion of phi. After inflation, the universe expands according to 2/3 power law different from the Friedmann cosmo logy. There is no reheating and there is no need of reheating. The mod el predicts consistency between the Jeans mass and the mass of galaxie s.
