Abstract
We report the observation of convective instabilities in a mesogenic a zocompound complexed with palladium, subjected to electric fields. The analysis of the experimental data indicates that the conductive regim e extends to higher frequencies with respect to that of the common nem atics, even if we find that the dielectric anisotropy of the metallome sogen and of the ligand have the same order of magnitude.
