Abstract
Inorganic molecular sieves have a well-defined internal structure of u niform cages, cavities, or channels-see the Figure for an example-maki ng them suitable for many applications. Recently inclusion of dyes and metal chelates as guests has been studied. The results are reviewed b riefly, including the preparation and characterization of the host/gue st system and the chemical reactivity.
