African Americans still have a small presence in the student bodies of American business schools and their presence on business school facul ties is negligible. In determining which schools are the most favorabl e for African Americans, there are always the powerhouses such as Harv ard, Wharton, Stanford, Kellogg, and Sloan, but when all factors are t aken into account, the University of Michigan appears to be the best b usiness school for blacks.
