Abstract
The reactions of alpha,beta-unsaturated-beta-ketoamines with [RuX(3)(E Ph(3))(3)] (X = Cl or Br; E = P or As) gave a series of new ruthenium( III) complexes having the molecular formula [RuX(2)(EPh(3))(2)(LL')] ( LL' = alpha,beta-unsaturated-beta-ketoaminate). All the new complexes were characterised on the basis of elemental analyses and IR, electron ic and EPR spectral data. An octahedral geometry has been proposed for all the new complexes.
