Abstract
New principles of light anisotropic diffraction from complex (multifre quency) gratings have been studied theoretically and experimentally in case of two sound waves excited in the same volume. It has been shown that two different types of the intercombined multiphonon processes e xist. Namely this peculiarity ensures reciprocity of the light transmi ssion in opposite directions. Simultaneously qualitatively new (two-st ep) dependences of the diffracted electromagnetic wave intensity on so und frequency have been discovered.
