Abstract
Adsorption of the alkali cations on silica and alumina measured by the refractometric and radiotracer methods are coincident. Low adsorption of counterions on silica over the pH range 3...6.5 makes it possible to measure adsorption of the organic co-solvent in the systems silica- electrolyte solution in the mixed solvent.
