Abstract
The three models of the CCl4 radiolysis are discussed. A new interpret ation of the results based on the solid phase ionization potential is proposed, which may help in understanding the reactions occuring in th e irradiated CCl4-alkane systems and the positive hole transfer betwee n the solvent cation and the solute molecule.
