Abstract
The problem of stability in the first approximation is solved for syst ems with aftereffect by integrodifferential equations of the Volterra type, using ideas and methods developed by Lyapunov [1] in the theory of the stability of differential equations and later developed further in the context of the theory of non-linear oscillations [2, 3].
