Abstract
Thiadiazolobenzimidazoles (3) have been synthesized by the condensatio n of appropriate 5-alkyl-2-amino-thiadiazoles (2) with embelin (1) (2, 5-dihydroxy-3-undecyl-1,4-benzoquinone) and the products 3 converted i nto their acetyl 4 and reductive acetate 5 derivaties.
