Abstract
New biospecific affinity chromatography adsorbents were prepared from epoxy reactive matrices with subsequent coupling of galactose as the l igand and were afterward characterized. Their usefulness in the sorpti on of peanut lectin, a protein specifically retained by the galactose residue, is reported. (C) 1994 John Wiley and Sons, Inc.
