Abstract
A new approach to calculations for laser cavities is proposed, based o n the use of conditional-and unconditional-optimization algorithms. Re sults are given for the design and optimization of the cavity of a sin gle-frequency YAG:Nd ring laser with frequency doubling. (C) 1997 The Optical Society of America.
