V. Legge et Mt. Westbrook, REPORTS OF HEALTH-WORKERS FROM 6 AUSTRALIAN COMMUNITIES ON AGED PEOPLES EVALUATION OF HEALTH-SERVICES, Australian journal on ageing, 13(2), 1994, pp. 82-86
In response to a questionnaire survey, health workers (N=371) from the
Chinese, German, Greek, Italian, Arabic speaking and Anglo Australian
communities reported the reactions to health services of aged people
in their communities. Significant community differences were found in
the evaluation of 15 of the 18 aspects of health services examined. In
all ethnic communities mainstream services received higher ratings th
an did services specifically for non-English speaking patients. Commun
ities with a shorter history in Australia tended to value services mor
e highly.
