Abstract
Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) arising from chronic varicose ulcer is very rare, only a few documented and histologically proven cases have been reported since 1900. The available literature is reviewed. A recurren t case of morphea-like basal cell carcinoma arising in a chronic varic ose ulcer and its further recurrence despite radical resection of the ulcer including the tumor is presented.
