Abstract
Through metallurgical process research, the way to strongly raise the working induction is to obtain the preferential (100)[001] orientation . As Al content improves the developement of cube texture 3% Al Fe was submitted to hot working procedures, driven with low speed and low fi nishing temperature, in one or three steps and a double stage process. This work relates to the texture evolution as well as the influence o f hot working parameters on final properties, Samples with the stronge st heterogeneous hot deformation exhibits the most important cube text ure component after an optimized first cold rolling. This is consisten t with magnetic measurements.
