Abstract
We present AC-, DC-susceptibility and magnetization measurements of th e RNi(4)B series from which we determine the paramagnetic properties o f RNi(4)B (R = Y, La, Ce). The ferromagnetic order of RNi(4)B(R = magn etic rare earth) is similar to those of the RNi(5) series with the exc eption of SmNi4B and TbNi4B wherefor the former the highest ordering t emperature in this series (39K) together with a spin reorientation at 31.7K occurs.
