Dv. Goldshtein et al., MODIFICATION OF THE SURFACE OF POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE IN A GLOW-DISCHARGE PLASMA IN VAPORS OF VARIOUS ORGANIC-COMPOUNDS, High energy chemistry, 25(4), 1991, pp. 303-306
The process of modifying the surface of polytetrafluoroethylene in a g
low discharge plasma in vapors of organic compounds of various classes
was investigated. It was established that the greatest increase of we
ttability is seen when modification is done in acrylic acid vapor. Mul
tiple attenuated total internal reflection infrared spectroscopy was u
sed to study the spectra of the coatings that formed and to demonstrat
e their difference in the case of acrylic acid.
