Uranium(III) f-d-absorption spectra in CH3CN, propylenecarbonate, and
THF solutions containing various crown ethers are obtained. Conclusion
s are made on the basis of the spectra obtained that the macrocycle ri
ng size, the presence of various substituents, and the nature of the c
rown ether donor atoms affect the change of the U(III) f-d-absorption
spectra.
